ACT ARB 117-7-10 BAGHOUSE DUST COLLECTOR

The A.C.T. Dust Collectors ARB Baghouse is a highly efficient industrial dust collection system featuring a round cyclonic baghouse design. Its key innovation lies in the integration of cyclonic separation with medium-pressure pulse cleaning technology, ensuring top performance and environmental compliance.

Key features include; continuous online cleaning to maintain consistent airflow (CFM) throughout the day. The bolt-on low pressure involute inlet  with an inner cone baffle and vortex breakers, minimizing air swirl in the bag chamber. And, primary material separation occurs in a 60° cone section, enhancing dust separation and reducing the load on the filtration bags.

This design improves air flow, extends bag life, and optimizes the dust collection process by reducing the dust load on the bags, ultimately enhancing system efficiency and longevity. The A.C.T. Dust Collectors ARB Baghouse is a state-of-the-art round cyclonic baghouse designed to efficiently manage industrial dust collection needs. Its innovative design combines cyclonic separation with advanced medium-pressure pulse cleaning technology, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with stringent environmental standards.

The ARB Baghouse Collectors are best suited for heavy loading applications.

Applications:

Feed & Grain
Food Processing
Woodworking
Recycling & Scrap

OVERVIEW

Advantages of the ACT ARB 117-7-10

The ACT ARB 117-7-10 Round Baghouse is designed to meet the unique requirements of many applications including feed & grain, food processing, woodworking and recycling.

ARB series units do not require compressed air as the ARB comes standard with medium pressure cleaning system. The built-in cyclone promotes material drop out and extends filter life.   Overall design is compact to minimize footprint.

The ARB Baghouse utilizes a round cyclonic design that enhances the initial separation of dust particles from the airstream.

ACT ARB 117-7-10 Maintenance

Central to the ARB Baghouse's effectiveness is its medium-pressure pulse cleaning system. The ARB Baghouse units will effectively filter such materials as grain, feed, flour, minerals, cement products, plastics and wood waste.

The ARB Baghouse's design allows for continuous operation, as the cleaning process does not require taking compartments offline, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.

This ACT ARB 117-7-10 dust collection system holds (117) 10 foot filter bags with hinged access door to walk in plenum for filter inspection and service.  And, it features the A.C.T. standard no-tools top bag and cage removal at time of service.

Medium-Pressure Pulse Cleaning System

Central to the ARB Baghouse's effectiveness is its medium-pressure pulse cleaning system. Unlike traditional high-pressure pulse-jet systems that utilize short bursts of compressed air, the medium-pressure system employs a positive displacement (PD) pump to deliver high-volume, medium-pressure pulses of clean air during the cleaning process. This method provides a more efficient and energy-saving cleaning mechanism, as the PD pump operates at lower horsepower compared to compressed air systems, resulting in reduced energy consumption. Additionally, medium-pressure cleaning air generates less moisture, mitigating issues such as valve freeze-up in cooler environments.

Enhanced Filter Longevity and Maintenance

The gentle yet effective cleaning action of the medium-pressure pulse system contributes to prolonged filter bag life by minimizing mechanical stress during cleaning cycles. This not only reduces maintenance frequency but also lowers operational costs associated with filter replacements. Furthermore, the ARB Baghouse's design allows for continuous operation, as the cleaning process does not require taking compartments offline, ensuring uninterrupted productivity. The integration of advanced monitoring systems enables real-time tracking of differential pressure across the filters, providing valuable insights into the baghouse's health and facilitating proactive maintenance strategies.

Cyclonic Separation Efficiency

The ARB Baghouse utilizes a round cyclonic design that enhances the initial separation of dust particles from the airstream. As contaminated air enters the baghouse, it is subjected to a cyclonic motion, causing heavier dust particles to be forced outward and downward into the hopper due to centrifugal forces. This pre-separation mechanism reduces the dust load on the filter bags, leading to extended filter life and improved overall efficiency. Such a design is particularly effective in handling large volumes of particulate matter, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
