WOODWORKING: Dust Collection for 20+ Machines

SWI Interiors in Osage, MN is a very established interior design and cabinet production facility.  Steve Pachel is the entrepreneurial force behind this growing company.  In the spring of 2015 Steve decided he was going to take the next step in growing his shop, both in efficiency and healthy working environment.

Steve contacted Ron at Min-Dak Clean Air Technologies, an A.C.T. Dust Collector distributor located in Western North Dakota / Eastern Minnesota, to help him achieve his goals:

“…I need to clean up the mess from the sawdust in the shop, get rid of the sawdust haze in the air, and give me a system I can run without the burden of opening and closing blast gates…”

And that is exactly what Ron and A.C.T. did for Steve and his team with an ACT TLM 117-10 Reverse Pulse Baghouse and a VFD driven 60 HP fan moving 17,500 cfm. The system services nearly 20 different woodworking machines including CNC router table, edge bander, wide-belt horizontal sander/finishers, as well as multiple table saws, miter saws, and shapers.  The impact was immediate.  The air was cleaner and employees were delighted with the improvement to the air quality.  Steve is very pleased with the system performance and is working with Ron and A.C.T. Dust Collectors to install a trailer loading system.
